Pandas 'chirp' to get pregnant

For female giant pandas who can only conceive on a few days once a year, being able to say "when" is vital.

Now a report reveals that female giant pandas use chirp calls to inform male pandas exactly how fertile they are.

Why not put a collar on the female and make it go off to help them mate?

Whatever they are doing at the zoos isn't working.

The problem with pandas is that they have trouble mating in captivity. And zookeepers haven't helped them either by trying to spice up the panda sex life, dressing up the panda ladies with stockings and suspenders. But when the male panda is already not really in the mood, imagine him having to open a bra before he can get started.

Duh! Of course, he'll pass. He'd rather munch on his bamboo stick and say "No hard feelings, love! Maybe you're lucky and Craig David will come along".
