The same day some evil dictator, ordered the murder of all jedis and "re-organised" the Republic inot an Empire.
Maybe the US should do the same. Maybe Obama should have every gun-owner assasinated and promote himself Emperor of the United States...

theres are a couple of great john oliver clips on youtube about gun control and what happened in australia after they introduced more gun control following mass shootings
they had ZERO from time new legislation came in, till the show was made (and until now too, i think)
and the gun rights guy on there said himself - if you have more guns you will have more gun deaths
for anyone who's open minded i suggest you check these clips out
(they're very funny, but naturally a a bit sad too)

These mass shootings are terrible but they generally occur in places where a quick response is nearly impossible because pussies like you have made gun free zones a thing. The statistics change when you factor in the shooter usually killing himself. So if a shooter kills his wife and her boyfriend and then turns the gun on himself, voila, you have a mass shooting.
I'm not going to listen to dickheads who go on about gun control and think giving Iran a path to a nuclear ICBM is a-okay.

What's the point of having different gun laws from state to state when guns can go freely from one state to another ? When you can buy a gun in a state that has very few gun laws and bring it to a state with very tough gun laws ?
Gun laws should be dealt with o the federal level.
About gun-free zones : There are pointless as long as people can bring gun in, as long as there's not metal detectors at every entrances of every gun-free zone.

This thread is stupid. We have the same conversation every single time there's a mass shooting. Both sides bring out their talking points. We'll be having the exact same conversation a month from now when there's a another mass shooting. It's ridiculous. Count me out on this thread
I agree, along with armed security, otherwise it's just another feel good measure. Umpqua Community College administrators debated having armed security (why is that even a debate these days?) and opted to go with unarmed. You want to have a declared gun free zone then make it a truly gun free zone in practice and lock that shit down and treat it like a prison or a courthouse.
Will the next shootng involve targeting Christians specifically as well? Still waiting on that POS in the White House to have a conniption like he did when he thought a couple of Muzzies were targeted.

There's no actual proof that this shooter specificaly targted muslims. Just a woman who claim to have a grand-mother who was on the Campus when it happened and told her that she witnessed the gunman asking people if they were christians and killing only those answering "YES".
A says that be B said her she saw something. I wouldn't qualify A as a reliable source. I wouldn't base my entire opinion on A's testimony. But some here would, when A's testimony matches their views.
I guess it's easier to believe the things you've always wanted to see/read/hear about...
I could name wars and uprisings that had less casualties than that...

The fact that she stated that it happened soon after the massacre lends credibility to her statement. Most people that witnessed such a horrible event are not going to dream up a story about the circumstances immediately after. You really are an annoying little beret wearing dweeb, you know that?
