Oral surgery, 8 root canals, and 1 year prison sentence at Riker's Island

Lil Wayne’s jail sentence was delayed for dental surgery — and the rapper made sure he used it to have everything taken care of all at once.

According to TMZ, the Tuesday dental surgery provided the MC with a whopping eight root canals. The procedure lasted eight hours and also included several redone tooth implants, additional implants and work on his grill and remaining teeth.

Lil Wayne will head to jail on March 2 to serve out his year-long sentence at Riker’s Island.

His latest album, the rock effort “Rebirth,” was released earlier this month, and there will be no shortage of the rapper while he’s behind bars — according to MTV News, he shot footage for nine videos over a marathon weekend earlier this month.

I know it is. However, I don't recall seeing it on here, therefore I shard what Lil' Wayne went through for prison.

On TMZ someone said they had to get him prison ready. He thought about what he said and realized bad wording. :D

Yes. Investigative reporting shows that was not really diamond teeth. It was plaque build up to the point it was crystallized and the alcohol and marijuana he partakes in actually accelerated the crystallization.

Yeah..probably not a good idea to serve time with diamonds and platinum in your "grill". Meaning the root canals were so all that shit can be taken out of his mouth and leave him something to eat the fine dining from the palatial digs of his new gated community.

yep got to be the pot :thefinger i think it has somting to do with the fact that he was addicted to drinking codeine cough syrup but I'm no rap historian or any thing but i think that might be what did him in not pot and booze.

The surgery was mostly to get the diamonds and shit out of his teeth so his mouth won't get targeted for other than the obvious reasons while in jail. Once that shit's out of there...the teeth are fairly useless and virtually dead. The roots need to be ended and caps put on.
