Only 36 percent of Americans can name the three branches of government

Before being allowed to voter, one should pass a civic test
 
I don't think other peoples know best about their own country's institutions.
For example : if the question "Who would assume the role of state leader if the President of France was unable to -severely ill, dead, etc.- ?", I don't think many of my fellow countrymen would give the correct answer (which is "The President of the Senate").

It is indeed very sad that, in our western democraties, many people don't have a clue about the persons they vote for, what would be their mission if this person gets elected, etc...
