Only 3 more days til SW:EPIII!!!!!!

Apart from a few scenes that I really didn't like (Padme brushing her hair) and the odd spot of wooden acting (Sam Jackson - 'A. Sith. Lord?') I loved it!

i saw a prescreening of it, then paid to see it opening night......

aside from georges typical poor writing skillz for the first time in the prequels i found there to be passion behind the lines, not just reading off a teleprompter.

i almost shed a tear when i saw just how bad it got for anakin, I thought Hayden redeemed himself this time around and filled the shoes of Vader impressively.

And like a poster above stated, think of the films as individual installments, and ignore jar jar in the first one, and you will find that they all play out nicely.

The emperor was brilliant and I rank this film behind empire as the second best of the 6, just barely ahead of the origional.

one question, if the origional death star is under construction, and episode 4 is 20 years away, that is damm slow building....considering its what..maybe 5 years max from episode 4 to episode 6 and they build a whole new death star....or at least one that is operational

I wasnt all that impressed with the Anakin/Obi-wan duel . . . I think the camera work was a little to fast.If it would of stayed in one place like the Obi-wan and Darth maul fight, the effectiveness of there styles would of been more on display and would of paid off better imo.

The Yoda and Sidious fight was i think the highlight of the whole movie . . .

The 2 strongest force users in the galaxy at that time duking in out was impressive.

**My only other complaint is that they cut out Qui-gons apperance in the flim**

I'm with you on Qui-gon. I was expecting to hear him or see him explain how to become a force ghost. Anyway about the Death Star, think about it this way. The Death Star is being built in Episode III. Now somewhere between III and IV it's been completed. Let's give it a five year max completion. That means that for 15 years the Death Star has been up in space controlling the galaxy. Then here comes these band of rebels (led by Anakin's daughter no less) who get wind of the Death Star and realize that in order to crush the empire they have to destroy their base of operations. Then along comes Anakin's other child who decides to help the rebels. The Death Star gets destroyed and it's another five years to complete another Death Star. I hope this makes sense. I had to keep reading this so it would make sense to me.

Even jarjar had his role. If he hadn't been in the first, he wouldn't be in the second, where he holds a certain responsability for the start of the clone wars.

As far as I know, Liam Neeson was asked to contribute to 'Sith' but rufused. Not sure how true that is. I find it a great shame if it is, because that would've made this film all the more better.

Saw this a week ago, and twice more since. It grows on you. Neesons scenes are in the DVD version.

Did you all spot the Millenium Falcon?

what do you mean ?
is there a millenium falcon in the movie ??
and what about these "Neesons scenes" ??

Seen it last night. It was ok. Not as good as I pictured it in my head it would
be. I think it left alot of stuff out of the movie. Why was chewee even in this?
I can't remember how Hanand Chewee even meet? Maybe it's in the book I haven't read any of the starwas books. Where is Bobba at? Also how can Leia
remember here mother as alittle girl if she dies at birth?

good movie but there were a few minor problems associated with plot 'weaknesses' but i give it a 9.8 of 10.

0.1 lost on the above mentioned issue and the other 0.1 lost on how grievous was not 'explained' properly to the movie viewer who does NOT know about the cartoon series and the expanded universe section.

Saw it again for the Se7enth time last night . . . .

I give it a 4.5 out of 5

Same complaints as in my other post though.

seven times !
damn you are addicted :D

Not really,I went to see The Return of the king way more times than i have with EPISODE 3.

Have only seen it 5 times so far....but that number will be in double digits soon enough...IMO, this is the 3rd best SW movie, behind the original (Ep4) and TESB. Ian McDirmid had an absolute blast as Palpatine, he really let loose and gave a phenomenal performance. Even Hayden Christensen (who I thought was fine in EpII) stepped up and gave a good performance. The Mace Windu death sequence was absolutely intense, it brought tears to my eyes. As a matter of fact, intense is what the movie was from that point on. Thank you George, thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!
