I do not think that the biggest cause of the 'Honour-Killings' is not the religion. In my opinion, it is the mental state of people. If you are over-eager about not being able to accept that anyone in your ****** does things that makes you look bad in your peer group, be that a religious circle or the neighbourhood or whatever, you will develop a huge amout of shame/anger/frustration.

That is where the religion can really hurt you. In other circumstances, You Might go to a therapist or other guide - in a religion, you go to your priest, and if that person says, it is a sin, you and the person involved in your ****** will burn in hell or djehenna... the road to ****** is paved out.

Like the religious extremists Beck and Palin. If you turn to them for guidance, they will poisin your mind and people will get ****** in the effect. If you are not strong enough to decide for yourself.
