Yes I like westerns. Could not get enoughof them .

I knew my memory was in swiss cheese mode...two of my favorites!
I got in some trouble cutting toy rifles in half to make my own "Mare's Leg" like Steve had...he made the series cool by being Steve McQueen (like the blob); I used to ruin chess sets by drilling holes in the knights to wear them on leather cords 'cause I thought Richard Boone was cool (and I learned what "palladin" was, too!); the greatness of the modern age is that the past comes back to haunt you on DVD...I have episodes of most of those great series on DVD and have watched some with my 6 year old; she loves to yell out "Hah! See you soon!", like Pancho (Cisco Kid) does at show's end.
Hell, I still wish people "Happy Trails", an influence of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans from their series (who hasn't yelled out "Whoa Nellie Belle!" at least once in their lifetime?:D ).

Happy Trails!

Good method of finding out how old people are too. :)

Gumby
Degrassi High
Babar
Captain Planet

I don't think this theory is plausible. lol Many shows are still showing on several channels. Some reruns live on forever..and ever...and ever....

A lot of TV watching wasn't permitted in my house growing up. So I watched what they watched only exception, cartoons for an hour Sat. mornings if I had earned it that week.

M*A*S*H was certainly a family favorite.
Golden Girls
We watched a lot of news too.
Scooby Doo (me)

All the old Detective shows (we never had cable and only my one friend had "Super TV" so I spent the weekends at her house a lot. Emmanuelle movies on there were my introduction to seduction. :D ) Wow when we got a VCR (years after they came out lol) I thought we were the luckiest family in the world.

I only just got cable in early nineties. My good TV movies before that were mostly old reruns on grainy UHF channels. Watching the Classics helped in me develope a liking for them though. Old John Wayne as well as many others.

Some favorite weekend earned shows were Outer Limits, The Twilight Zone, The Night Stalker stuff like that.
