Officer charged with drowning 50 kittens!

Prosecutors filed six counts on Monday against an Adelanto ****** Control supervisor who allegedly drowned roughly 50 kittens over a four-month period,officials said.

Kevin Murphy, 36, faces six misdemeanor counts of cruelty to *******, said Supervising Deputy District Attorney Jim Hill, of the Victorville District Attorney’s office.

Hill said the charges stem from Murphy allegedly drowning the kittens between July and October — some 50 ******* in all. If convicted, Murphy could face six years in county jail for the drownings.

“The maximum penalty for each charge is one year in county jail or a $20,000 fine or both,” said Hill, who added that Murphy will be arraigned on May 19.

I think that the guy is an asshole for bringing it upon himself to do what he did. There's a more humane medium in which to euthanize the unmanageable excess feline population, as much as it pains me to say.

Yea apparently the law doesn't give much of a **** about *******. They'd shoot him on sight if he had drowned 50 babies rather than kittens.

Personally I feel the punishment should be the same wether the victim be ****** or human

I believe that a ********* act of a ******* an ****** should be punished, that is for sure. I do not believe however that it should hold the punishment as the ******* of a human being. I just believe that a human life is more valuable than an *******, sorry I do.

I must ask though, do you think that if an ****** is seriously injured it is wrong for the owner to shoot it to put it out of it's misery?

Do you think that if a person owns a dog and that dog has seven puppies, it is wrong to shoot the puppies even though they would end up starving?

Do you believe hunting is wrong?

I feel the same about this guy as I felt about that soldier or marine that threw the puppy off the cliff in Iraq.I have no sympathy for these pathetic excuses for human beings.--Crimes of passion or greed happen with humans.....anger,lust,revenge,greed,stupidity....that is our weakness.But to harm or **** defenseless ******* is the lowest form of human behavior.***** of ******* or ******** is beyond My comprehension.I wish Him misery beyond compare.Like a previous poster stated....****** killers are just serial killers in training.

Human lives are more valuable.Hell,We are in charge.I believe the quality of a human being is measured by the way we treat those under us.Compassion for *******,********,old people,sick people,retarded people,poor people..etc.etc.-This measures the compassion and quality of the person in My opinion.--------If an ****** is seriously injured and suffering,I would shoot it to put it out of it's misery.I have no problem with that and could ***** well at night.----The seven puppies thing,,,I do have a problem with that!--It is WRONG to shoot the puppies...You could find them homes,and if it is Your dog,You are responsible for them.It does not take a six figure income to buy puppy food,clean up a few messes,and place an ad in the paper for adoption.Finally,I don't believe hunting is wrong.Some people do it and if You eat what You ****,I am fine with that.I do NOT hunt.I am pretty damn good with guns and only target shoot in competitions as a hobby.I am proud of the fact that I have never ****** a living thing.....Sammy
