Can't tell you much about which Dems or Repubs voted to invade Iraq. I can just tell you that was when Rey C. officially regretted his vote for George W. Bush. And no, I don't think it would have been all that big a deal if a Repub had flubbed this. I can't recall that John McCain EVER got the Shiites and Sunnis straight while speaking. But after the first dozen or so times, people just assumed that John was old and easily mixed up, so they let it go. John once even admitted that he had a hard time keeping them straight - something Palin and Bachmann should admit (about 99% of the things they talk about).

No offense to you, but the teleprompter thing became rather lame about a year ago. It would be more accurate to point out that Obama has unusually big ears. It doesn't mean anything, but at least that would be a truthful criticism.As to whether he was wrong or a liar on the question of WMD's, he apparently ignored evidence to the contrary and was willing to accept scant evidence supporting the WMD theory. In my field, that will buy you a quick exit from a company. But I also know that when the guy at the top wants something to be true, part of a capo's job is to make it true. From all that has come out since the Iraqi invasion, that appears to be exactly what happened. Hussein was no threat to the U.S. or its direct interests. And because we got mired down in Iraq, we now have that hot mess in Afghanistan.

I was about 6'3" by the time I turned 16. And since I played sports, I was a "big" 6'3". But with my ****** being a teacher, I wasn't allowed to fight at school without extreme provocation. Plus, billions are now missing and I've read about one Iraqi bridge that's been rebuilt eight times!!!
Here's my idea: the cost of a U.S. soldier is about $100K per year. For any country that's too much of a pussy to have an adequate military ***** (Japan, etc.), I'd help them out. The price for each soldier on their soil would be $150K. I'd be flexible though. I'd accept payment in oil, gold... or nubile virgins. What happens if ya don't pay? That's really not a question that a country in need of help would want to ask. :nono: And for any country that actually is threatening the U.S., there will be an immediate ass kicking and a tribute ("reparations", by modern speak) to be taken from their treasury or natural resources. I am a member of a tea party and not one person there has shown any evidence of racism. If they were racist, I would spit in their faces and walk out. Our meetings are about taxes, the economy, big government and the debt crisis. I've dragged my friend to a couple of these meetings and he was surprised by how friendly and down-to-earth the group was. I like when they get all defensive about it, like they're the least racist person on planet earth.
