Basically, football player Pat Tillman enlisted in the military. He didn't want the press to know so they wouldn't sensationalize it. While in the middle east, he was shot by a fellow soldier...BUT, the military said he was a war hero and gave a totally bogus version of how he was ****** and they spun it for spinning sake. Tillman explicitly wrote in his documents that he did NOT want a military funeral, but they did it anyway. So basically, this thread doesn't even touch how big of a blunder that situation was.
There was a documentary on this that was really good. His ******* gave probably the most sincere and surprisingly unorthodox eulogy i've ever heard.
