Good grief! The more I read and hear the news, the more your sig line plays in my head:

Losing my faith in humanity, one moron at a time.

I'm not sure what "people" you're talking about. This is an op-ed piece written by a single author with a pretty twisted line of reasoning (sure....Newsweek published it but that doesn't mean they endorse or agree with it). He seems like one of those people who sees conspiracy, evil and deception in everything. I'd be willing to bet there won't be any public outcry to support his arguments so this appears to be much ado about nothing in my view and the less attention it gets, the faster it will go away. Already has for me.

That sig is true

I would fly a Gadsden flag outside my house because I have an interest in American History and admire some of the founding fathers. A couple of years ago I was getting my car jumped by a AAA tow truck driver (I had a 2008 Saturn Vue - it was a lemon). The nice guy who was helping me with my car commented on the flag, said I must belong to the Tea Party, handed me a Tax Revolt Party flier, and then lectured me on the economic virtues of whatever his theories were.

I took down the flag and put up a Mets Flag under my American Flag after that.

I'm still pissed that I can't fly that flag because people will think I support the Tea Party. I do think Sarah Pallin is hot (still), but that is my opinion. Not as hot as Sabrina Deep, but she would do. I still wouldn't' fly her (Sarah's) flag.

Bingo. You beat me to it.
