The recent update of forum software has caused some unforseen issues so please report anything different or unusual you have noticed and we will endeavour to fix it.

And please let us know whether you are using the light or dark theme.

I'm using the light theme. Members avatars are not showing up. The way to fix it is to use the Shift+F5 key.

Now I know why I saw some users make some double posts earlier - it does some weird sh!t when you try to post a reply.

All I've done since the update is post new threads and send DMs, so I didn't notice. Hmm...

The reason you double posted John is because you got a weird pop-up which made it look like your post hadn't been submitted when it had which affected many other users too.

That hopefully shouldn't happen again.

Dare I say it, I think we're on top of most of the issues that were ongoing.

The only things left to fix that I am aware of are a few text color issues but that is ch!ld's play to fix compared to the other stuff I have been dealing with today - and will gladly concentrate on that tomorrow having hopefully shifted some of these bigger problems out of the way.

I was going to say something about the text color issues, but I also notice the attachment button is missing, and if you think there's only been some double-posts, you should have a look in the "Best Non-Nude Thread" Premium Link Upgrade That page is a mile long in repeating Supafly's post

LOL - yes, I have just fixed it.

But I'm pleased to report that the attachment button is not actually missing, it is just turned off for this particular section of the board (FreeOnes Updates)

And the edit button is missing too, so I can't go back and add that you wanted to know I'm using the dark theme.

It is also why the edit button isn't showing up... limited to this section only.

Remind me not to post in here again! ... but it is obviously designed for notices and not user replies. I may move this somewhere else.

And before anyone has a heart failure... private messages are now searchable and show up in search results and on your profile pages under your recent posts.

Don't worry, these are still private messages and does not mean that your entire conversation history is now public - it isn't. They are only visible to you and nobody else.

It just may take a while to get used to, that's all - because we've gone so long without it, but it is a built-in feature of the new software.

I've been too busy trying to sort out other issues to announce this properly.
