There are two versions, one for each system.

On a different note:

The complaints about Wii injuries crack me up. God forbid you actually move your muscles a little during the day.

But if exercise is that hard... you all realize you don't have to flail your arms around, right? All you need are directional flicks of the wrist. The remote doesn't follow your arm all the way through on every movement.

It looks like a very good console , I'm tempted too . But since I already have a 360 , $$ makes it hard for me to have both even though it doesn't cost a lot .

I wouldnt getting the Wii, i dont think its worth it yet, since christmas is close is the only time they will make a good profit off it, im patient ill wait awhile until prices go way down our until they sell it at swap meets!

I just went to Freeones on the Wii. Downloaded that Opera browser and tried Freeones. Worked ok but I'll stick with the computer I think.

Internet-capable Console + TV = WebTV. An unprofitable marriage of tech and low resolution text. Avoid it like the plague.

High-speed connection + Console = autoaiming gripes when crossed-over to PC gamers.

Mouse and keyboard will have to do until VR/headset navigation takes off like it does with the apache main gun.

Very true. Resolution was terrible. I had to zoom in to read the text. It was just a novelty thing I guess. For me anyway.

Even when using the dreamcast to browse the web, back in the day.. on the VGA cord (outputs a high res signal to your computer screen) it still wasnt worth the trouble. That also seems to very true. I seem to check in with Freeones everyday, and don't really go near a news site or anything really informative. Besides sports news and results.

I rather spend 250$ for a copy of windows vista ultimate and play like 3-4 generations of technology a head were Wii stands. Its not even on a pentium 4 scale in terms off hardware. So there is no room for developer to really do anything spectacular with that console. Have you seen farcry for Wii? it looks like its some freeware game that runs on a cellphone. wii is a toy and brings nothing to the hardware/game industry, hell nintendo could friggen hand out sportsgear and labourtools and call it the next gen console. Atleast you cant complain about the graphics then. Because its all about the control no one cares about the actuall console or the games but people just wants to smash that tennisball or do some other lame stuff GET THE HELL OUT and do that for like FREE and stop hyping up a machine that does it for you because its a lame piece of console.
