The name Mercedez rang a bell and seeing pictures now gave me a flashback...

Were you ever on some form of American talk show? I don't remember which show, but I think it was one of the Ricki Lake et al ones. It must've been years ago now, but I have this vague memory of someone in the adult industry talking about her child(ren) and winning some pageant for nude modeling (and that the host was somewhat hostile). IMDB doesn't say, but I could've sworn it was you or at the very least someone that looked an awful lot like you.

I remember reading somewhere that she was on Maury, though I might be wrong. :dunno:

It was Jenny Jones (from Geek to Sheek with Exotica) and Ricki Lake (on Pageants) Both were a nightmare!

Ah, right. It was a bit of a shot in the dark, but I think you can take it as a compliment that you made enough of an impression for me to actually remember something from Jenny Jones. Talk shows, now there's a genre I wouldn't mind if it was never seen again.

Thanks for clearing that up, but I have to go. I've got this inexplicable craving for ice cream all of a sudden.

Hi, Ms. Nina --

on a sidebar topic, did you see Hulk Vs.? I think I remember you mentioning it in another thread that I can't seem to find now.

Thanks

Both were a nightmare? Why is that?

I used to like Jenny Jones because it was the only show that had hot women on it when they did shows like that. Now there's nothing good like that on anymore!

Jenny Jones was really rude and confrontational I felt like a guest on her show should have been treated better by her but she was really out of line and judgmental a few times. I was actually on twice the second time I think she was better but I remember her staff trying to get us to wear these awful stripper outfits that were hideous and some of the girls were crying because they guilted them into these outfits that didn't fit and made them look bad. I said hell no I am not wearing that I will leave before I put that on!
As for Ricky Lake we were invited on to talk about the perks of being in nude pageants and she sabotaged us by asking off the wall questions and bringing up things that were agreed on before hand not to be discussed. She made us look bad and feel bad in fact I walked off stage before I was supposed to and they said if you walk we will sue and I told them to fuck off and walked! I will NEVER be on another talk show again!

Good for you Nina:bowdown:

Because they expect people to dress and behave like stereotypes. If they've got a porn star, they have to look like a porn star, because obviously you never wear normal clothes if you're in the adult industry, and God forbid you say something intelligent. It's also why they do the overzealous and just plain out-of-context editing of the interviews; so that the views they are sympathetic to are portrayed in a positive manner, and vice versa. What you're really like and what you have to say is secondary, if even that. Kinda like Fox News, come to think of it.

That seems unethical :D
