they should have gone A Parent Trap with that shoot. or Freaky Friday with it. The only other movie I can think of that she was in was Mean Girls and I can think of at least four girls in the movie id rather see naked over her. Five if you count Tina Fey.

but more importantly, Vern's feeling better! Yay! and another show! cant wait to see the video!

Well I'm glad I gave you a chuckle. haha. As far as us dicussing it and publicity though...I think it would be better if everyone was talking about how amazing it was though instead of how bad and what a mistake it was on Playboys part etc

I don't think it was a "bad" shoot of Lindsay. I just think they made a HUGEmistake trying to portray Lindsay as Marilyn. The poor girl didn't stand a chance in that slot and it makes Playboy look stupid....which unfortunately is what Playboy has kind of become

I think the smartest thing to do would have been to shoot her in ways that play on her hot mess reputation but in a really hot and edgy way. It would have helped both Playboy and Lindsay by showing a sense of humor and yet edginess and a bit less desperation on both of their parts.
For example...shoot her in a really high end, hip. edgy, rock/rebelious lingerie/outfits with sets that were court room inspired or a trashed hotel room in like the Beverly Hills hotel or something as if a massive night of partying went on and there's room service everywhere and the pics can go from color to black and white etc and so on. Clearly Playboy shouldve consulted with me. hahahahahah

That's just it though, the whole "Lindsay as Marilyn Monroe" shoot was actually the 2nd shoot. Hef wasn't happy with the 1st shoot, and the theme of 2nd one was his own brainchild. Personally I never understood the facination with Marilyn. She was such a tragic case, was taken advantage of & used and abused by so many people (mainly men), she didn't really have that long and successful a career, her career was basically over at the time of her suicide because she had become so impossible to work with because of her various problems, and whose suffering became so unbearable that she took her own life in the first place. Why anyone would aspire to that is beyond me. Personally, I believe the fact that her life came to such an abrupt end at such a young age has clouded a lot of people's judgement.

Agree on the Lindsay Playboy shoot, it was nice but could have been great with a different theme.

Regarding the Lohan spread, I haven't seen it, but I think it's an insult to [NOBABE]Marilyn Monroe[/NOBABE] and her legacy to use Lindsay in a replication of that spread. That aside, Lohan's not really my type anyway, and all her scandals certainly haven't given me a high opinion of her.

In all honesty that was taken during a shoot we did in a hotel room and that was my ACTUAL room service order that I was snacking on between sets. They decided to make that another set. hahaha

Nikki, I hope you are having a good week so far. And you comment about that room service picture just reminds me of my thoughts on photography. I used to take alot of picture and my one thing was take alot of pictures and hope you get a few really good ones out of that. And it usually seemed that the best ones were the pics taken on a whim and not planned. Like the time I was taking pictures of a friend repelling and just happened to snap a pic of another friend sitting on another point sticking out watching it all.
