Ok I have no idea what you guys are talking about because I have been busy with work and stuff but try to lighten up. If you want we can start a member of the week here on my thread and you guys can vote on whomever you wish if that makes you feel better. In all reality though I think life has enough stuff to get upset about and this is very small. Who cares? really. I would like to propose something.

The sun came up.... it was freezing cold day (wintertime here)...but seeing it's summer up there l predict it will be HOT for you folks today!!

l didn't win the lottery.......so that could be a good omen for Nikki or one of you guys......Good Luck!!!

Oh..and l had to make an appt to see the dentist after a filling dropped out.....so be careful brushing your teeth today.

Nikki has now passed the 14000 mark and just 200 shy of 11th place and a little over 400 of 10th place. thats right TENTH place!

Guys...I love your answers to these questions. Billet Wheel seems like he needs something to feel positive about on the first one. Lets see what we can do about that. My answers to my own questions are as follows.

1) I am happy about all of the possabilities and changes taking place within my life over the next 2 years but that have already started taking place.

2). I am MASSIVELY grateful for the friends that I have and my favorite aunt and my 2 favorite cousins and grandparents (which are still alive) and the coolest attorney on the planet. I am basically very rich in wonderful people in my life and I can't even tell you how grateful I am for that.

3). I have made genuine friends on here and gotten to know other people from within my industry as well that live all over the world and I surely would never have crossed paths with them otherwise.

Well thank you darlin'. It's hard sometimes that's for sure but it gets easier with time and effort and practice and it's genuine. For example....the next time you're feeling kind of bleh....just look yourself in the mirror and smile really big at yourself. Even be goofy about and it and force yourself to laugh outloud in a way that sounds rediculous. It will actually cause you to genuinely laugh and increase your mood and release chemicals in your brain that genuinely cheer you up and make you feel better. Energy IS contagious. I practice what I preach. Surround yourself with as much positivity as possible and try to avoid/ignore negative shit that comes at you so you don't feed and therefore empower that energy. At a certain point all of those things that used ot have such an affect on you....don't as much.

Here is something for "Billet" to consider in regards to question #1...he CLEARLY has friends, and that is something one should always be happy about. To quote from one of my all-time favorite movies, "It's a Wonderful Life":

Remember, (George): no man is a failure who has friends

And that is sooooo true. Too often society puts its stock in material things, when it's the truly priceless things in life that REALLY matter. So if for no other reason Billet, be happy that you truly have friends (I consider you one by the way), MANY people, even so-called wealthy people can't make that claim. The true gauge of a man's worth is his ability to make friends (and the, hopefully positive impact that they have on others)...and let me tell you Billet...by that measure, you are worth a lot...and that is something you can and should be VERY happy about!

I know better than most how things can get bad, and times can get REALLY rough. But remember, things are rarely as bad as they seem...and as down as you get about your own "plight" in life...there is always someone who has things worse. Be happy you have friends, and that you have things as good as you do (trust me, if you think about it honestly...things are never as bad as they may seem). Concentrate on the positives & you'll find your happiness level rising! Concentrate on negativity and it will consume you and eat you alive....and nobody wants that.

I just want to remind you that from 8th to 20K currently is about 2K votes. You have to keep in mind how we have gotten Nikki as far as we have with the votes/voting. Long story short, I haven't been able to vote at all today because my voting cycle got pushed back again yesterday. Since I voted last early this morning...100 votes or so have been cast. I'm sure we all realize there will be a BIG jump by tomorrow morning...BUT, that will only be after I vote again. Those HUGE jumps simply will not be possible after I scale my voting back to a manageable level after we get Nikki to 8th place...and upon 8th place...that is exactly what will need to happen for me. I just can't keep this up to another, higher goal. I tried to set a manageable goal, and it was every bit as much work or more than I anticipated (because of all the pauses in voting the system makes you take). If I could cast all of my votes non-stop...it would be cool. We both know that is not the way the system works sadly.

So, keep everything in perspective, and remember our voting pace will take a HUGE hit after we hit 8th place (unless others take over all of my voting accounts that were created and actually vote religiously)...and it may take you/us another 10-20 days to hit 20K (as opposed to the 3-4 days that it currently takes)...but you/we will hit that mark as well...just not as quickly as in the past.

First post here- Nikki amazing thread, I applaud your dedication with such a busy sced! Became a recent fan when some one showed me BCops, and I have not seen such beauty in grace from a model like you ever.

as i keep saying, Jon, anytime you want to slow down or take a break is fine with me. i can guarantee you everyone is fine with it. everyone who needs to know how much youre doing, knows. if it takes a little longer, it takes a little longer. my goal has been set and ill keep plugging away until i reach it be it next week, next month or next year

I'm dedicated to keep up the pace until we reach 8th place...because that was my goal from the start, I'm not a quitter, and we have maintained my projected pace and then some. Believe me, that doesn't make it any less tedious, or like work, but things are coming to fruition, and that makes it tolerable.

I keep reiterating my plans when I see a higher goal being mentioned...as much for myself as for everyone else. I know how easily I could be talked into keeping it up to reach a loftier goal...so, I just want to keep my mind straight concerning the plan...8th place, then my role levels off...because, lets face it, it has to. Ha ha ha!

With me scaling things back, it might take 10-20 days to reach 2000 votes (as opposed to about 3 right now), but, like you said, it will be reached.
