Umm you and me both!!! If ANYONE should have been included in the best Adult Model Category ...it's me. No offense to anyone else in there but COME ON! I have been the most published adult model in this industry with the exception of maybe Aria Giovanni. By that I mean literally the most published who has not done hardcore. I even won an award for that very thing a few years back. Don't get me started on that one. That is the ONE title I truly feel deserving of winning and I wasn't even included in the category???!!! WTF??!!!
Um...yeah...total bullshit if you ask me, A HUGE error of judgment or mistake of the part of freeones for that one. Then again I also now make most of my money on cam. Why wasn't I in the best cam girl category? I don't necessarily feel I should win that one but I do feel I belonged in that category. I truly DO feel I am deserving of the best Adult Model category though and I am super bummed I was not even in that. Whatever!

From the response I got for all of the "campaign ads" that I posted for you specifically (and others in a general collective "ad"), I do know people did take notice, and the response was overwhelming positive! However, that only went to those who were, again, active on the boards! So, one needs to take that with a grain of salt as well.

As far as the other category, Best OCSM, that is more of a toss up, and there is only one winner/prize in that one. I'd have it down to you and Miss Hybrid based upon the "exit polling"! But then again, like before, the "exit polling" is hardly reliable because it was only people who voted AND participated in the round 3 thread and the boards! I'd probably be more surprised that you didn't finish in the top 10 in the main one than I would be if you win this one. I'm just not all that overly confident about OCSM though.

From my observation, there were a hand full of contestants who seemingly had solid support in round 3, and you were one of them. Ironically, another one of the contestants who seemed to have solid support in round 3, Miss Hybrid, doesn't seem to think she will win anything either. Go figure!

I guess I can relate though. In college, I was always anxious when it was time to return tests. The professors would always seem to make a general statement about the spectrum of results, and I was always panicking that I was one of those in the lower end. Of course, my professors always found that humorous as I seemed to always be the "curve breaker"! They never could figure out why I would ever be worried.......and I did graduate from Penn State with a BS and a 3.98 GPA! But, that never eased my mind, regardless of the test. I never had test anxiety....it was more "how did I do" anxiety! ha ha ha!

That being said, I still want to believe you will finish in the top 10 in the main category! I believe people would have had to be moronic not to have voted for you for Miss FreeOnes (with the 3 votes we had each day)! However, I remember 8 years of Bush, 4 coming after we already knew what we had (for the record, I NEVER voted for him....Gore and Kerry here!), then I just don't know what to think anymore! ha ha ha!

However things play out, win, lose or draw, you gave it your best shot, and one thing is definitely a certainty......Nikki Nova is one helluva beautiful woman & an AMAZING person!!!

One thing still baffles me......based upon what you do in the "industry".......why weren't you included in the Best Adult Model category???....and I'm pretty sure I am not the only one baffled by that!

I'm just saying.... I know you meant it as a compliemnt and I appreciate it very much. I just really think men need a little education on this subject which is why I wrote that blog entry on Vanilla's birthday and I am brining it up again on my own for anyone who does that because you guys/men/males just need a lil' education on the subject. Pure and simple. tee hee

That's a sweet thing to say BUT how about giving ME a shot? I have NEVER won ANYTHING from Freeones? Doesn't someone who has put so many years into an industry and who is proffessional and respectful towards others as well as accomplished DESERVE to get a little acknowledgement and reward for that. Give someone else a chance ? Sure...but why not give me a chance that I NEVER got and that is MORE than deserved? I'm sorry but that's kinda just bullshit.

FreeOnes cocked up on a few categories by deciding for themselves who should be in which categories, instead of leaving that up to the contestants to decide. I felt that the contestants should choose up to 3 categories that they wanted to be entered for. This would have made much more sense. There were people in categories that they should not have been, and vice versa. It is still only in its second year (and only the first time that categories were included), so hopefully they will learn from it for next year.

Oh and as far as science fiction is concerned for those who have been discussing it...meh. I love Science but not fiction. Even the books I read are all non-fiction. i like to learn about stuff. Anything else is just a waste of time for me. If it's REALLY good science fiction than I can get into it. In other words science fiction and stories that are based on actual scientific facts and theories. This is what made the X files so big just FYI....and the movie 2010 etc.

I used to have this same discussion/argument with my father, :) because I'll read anything that catches my eye. Mainly for escapism but I used to tell him as long as you learn something (anything) it's better than not reading at all. He didn't buy it :D .. anyway I just stopped by to wish you a Happy Birthday :party: :wave2: .All the best to you Nikki :)

I'm going to be blunt.......I'm certain the reason you weren't included in categories that seemed to be natural & logical is quite simple: They fucked up......plain and simple!!! I don't think they "did their homework" when they put the contestants in their respective categories! Then again, I am one who buys into lex parsimonae, the law of parsimony, or Occam's Razor if you will!!! The answer is rarely all that complicated.....ha ha ha!

Uh oh! This might be a sign of the apocalypse.....I don't watch the 700 Club.....but I'm sure Pat Robertson is using this to scare his minions! There have been cases of thousands of birds falling from the sky dead in Arkansas & Louisiana, and fish mysteriously dying in Arkansas recently......coupled with all of the honeybees dying off.....It's gotta be the end of the world is near!!!! What other explanation could there be????!!!!! Ha ha ha! :laughing:
