And you are right about injuries, both he and his brother (much shorter career) had their careers cut short by concussions...and they will be dealing with that for the rest of their lives probably.

I guess I should have said that "Eric Lindros" is the name of a retired professional hockey player. But, the real Eric Lindros played for 13 years. If you go to our "Eric Lindros'" public profile on here, you will see a picture of the hockey player Eric, and see that he was #88.Ah..l have been wondering what the #88 was representing.

Man, I hate hospitals too, I have been a "guest" in them b4 & I have worked in them b4, it's probably the reason I take so many vitamins & herbs so I don't end up being a permanent resident! But if nurse Nikki was on duty all the time ,.... I think I would probably TRY to get sick just to be around her!!!!

Actually, and I could be wrong, but I don't think there is such a thing as a male candy stripe. I'd go with being a hospital volunteer....they're uni-sex, and you'd still get to make the rounds with Nurse Nikki!

I certainly have a great weekend. Our national football/soccer team drew 3-3 with Hong Kong yesterday. My alma mater just won their 4th straight basketball crown. And despite the two typhoons that passed by the country causing massive flooding, I only went to class twice this week and both were good lectures.

I never really planned on doing any acting at all , and to be perfectly honest, I would not actually consider anything I have done to be true "acting". It was just a bunch of silly "B' movies that don't exactly require a range of emtotions or hard/real talent. hahaha. I did a few when I was first starting out and seeing what I liked and what I didn't. I decided that really wasn't for me. Then I did a few more only because my friend was one of the co-producers and she really wanted me to be in them. So NO is I guess tha answer. I do not plan on doing anymore acting other than what I do in my videos for my website www.nikkinova.com I try to keep everything exclusive to my site now.

Yes but I remember seeing the Australian rules Football champiaonship yeeeears ago when I was living with an ex who was addicted to sports and it was AWESOME. It wasn't soccer exactly and it wasn't anything like American football. It was so rugged and bloody. I mean guys were punching the shit out of each other and it was allowed and there was no protective gear at all. Pretty fuckin' rad if you ask me. hahaha

Long story short, though there have always been male and female hospital volunteers, and a "candy striper" was a hospital volunteer, like I said before, only female volunteers were ever referred to as a "candy striper".....unless some dude was like Klinger on M*A*S*H, and he liked to wear women's clothes or something.

Female hospital volunteers, and only females, wore white uniforms with red stripes....like a candy cane...thus the name "candy striper." Male volunteers of the day actually wore a more traditional uniform, and thus a dude was, and would NEVER have been referred to as a candy striper, only chicks. Anyway, today, both male and female volunteers wear the same traditional/conventional uniforms.....and the term "candy striper" is no longer used, relegating itself to a bygone era.
