Actually Nikki, I can not take the credit. I didn't even know anything about it until I saw, if memory serves me right, a re-Tweet about it...and even then I couldn't figure out how to vote. Then, a few weeks ago, and the person who really deserves the credit for getting people on board (at least initially), jitna posted about the contest & about voting for you. So, the real credit goes to jitna.
Now, I took some initiative after the fact...but it would be wrong of me to take the credit because it's not really mine to take. As far as others voting for you, I fielded several inquiries from guys who, on their own wanted to do it....because they like you that much. Together, we decided 8th place was doable & set that as our goal. We also designated jitna the "updater" as "he sees fit" to cut down on everyone "reporting" voting info. That however, has some room for improvement "evidently". Ha ha ha!
Anyway, granted some people have been schmucks and made voting less "fun" than others....cough cough.....but those who are, are doing it with a clear and manageable goal in sight & they are doing it because they genuinely like you Nikki! Heck, I don't even "advertise" to vote anymore. Ha ha ha!
Now, moving on, for my Memorial Day plans.....Grilling steaks....LOTS of beer, AND a little watermelon and ice cream!!!!!!
PSYCHE! The beer thing wouldn't have been on my agenda even if I was totally healthy. I'm actually planning on relaxing, swimming some in my pool since the weather is to be so nice (albeit hot and muggy), and grilling some chicken breasts & salmon steaks tomorrow. Watermelon probably...ice cream never (sniffle!). No huge plans....nothing but R&R!
