who???! So glad to have you back!!! It's not issues with anyone here that I'm having. It's just that when I work on cam they always creep through and cam at us girls. Plus just the everyday tasks of posting and responding to messages here and on twitter and my site and the emails and Facebook and phone calls and ugh. I spend 4 to 5 hours a day JUST on THAT! That's my every morning and THEN my actual workday starts which is another 8 to 11 hours. You do the math on that. That's every single day. I mean even my "days off" include that everyday obligation of 4 to 5 hours. Sometimes I just need some breathing room is all. Look how frustrated you got over some freeones silliness. Imagine being in my position every single day of your life. You have NO IDEA. hahaha

Sorry to hear some people have been driving you mad Nikki. Heres hoping you get a chance to take a well earned rest to recharge your batteries.

Nikki,

I believe you suffer from the same affliction that I do. I try to please everyone to the point that I completely ignore myself (though I don't believe you COMPLETELY ignore yourself). It seems like I am the go to guy when someone has a problem, and being a sensitive person myself, I end up trying to help everyone and anyone in any way I can & often internalize the pain/suffering of others (not like I haven't internalized enough of my own...ha ha ha!) much to my own detriment. Unlike others, when I have a problem of my own, I internalize and NEVER go to others for help with or to even talk about anything. Sadly, being like that, only leads to apathy regarding one's self...at least it has in my case...because you end up caring for others more than you do yourself. I mean I could NEVER love myself. Like yes...Love...NEVER! Ha ha ha! I'm one who puts everyone else and their needs before my own! I don't believe I have to say how well that works out! Sometimes, it even leads to resentment, because one can't help but feel like they are being used.

Soooo...long story short...one needs to look out for and care for themselves 1st and foremost and put everyone else 2nd. I don't mean being totally self-centered...just that you have to put yourself 1st! Bottom line, you can't please everyone, so you have to try to please yourself! That is really the only way one can find true happiness in my opinion. Strangely though, I'm not even sure I know the meaning of that word any more! Ha ha ha! To be perfectly honest, I'm not even sure I could articulate what would even make me truly happy anymore. Sometimes, I just feel like disappearing and dropping out of society! Then I wonder, would people even notice I was missing (at least until someone had a problem or something)! Ha ha ha!

So Nikki....you have to put yourself first!

I almost forgot to leave you with some interesting facts about "Network"! Since Vern posted the clip recently, I'd better post them now while I think about it & it is still actually relevant to the thread! Ha ha ha!

1. Though screaming "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!" isn't a half bad idea, being suicidal and ultimately getting "assassinated" probably isn't the best way to go about it! Ha ha ha! (for those who don't already know, at the end of the film, Howard Beale, becomes the first "man who was killed because he had lousy ratings.")

2. Tragically Peter Finch died of a heart attack in the lobby of the Beverly Hills Hotel at the age of 60. He was posthumously nominated for a Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of Howard Beale, and he became the first to win the award posthumously in an acting category! (Heath Ledger has since became the 2nd to win an Oscar posthumously in an acting category when he won Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of The Joker in "The Dark Knight")

3. Finally, in another tragic piece of irony...coincidence really, "Network" was Directed by acclaimed Director, and Philadelphia's own Sidney Lumet. Sadly Sidney Lumet just died back on April 9th at the age of 86! Though highly acclaimed for his work, Lumet never actually won an individual Oscar himself. However, he was awarded an honorary one for his work back in 2005.

So Vern, your decision to post the clip from "Network" was not only poignant, it was timely as well!

I can understand the cam show thing though. I have seen a few shows and some of the "people" in them are not worthy of the label of human. And those hours! I went through calculus 3 in school so I can do math, but we really don't want that number to get out, do we? (between labor laws and unions and everything else, someone would probably have something to say. Haha!)

Good evening Nikki!

As many know, I'm going away soooooo, this will be my last post for a little while, so I am going to keep it light.

In recent months, I have started getting back into astrology, something I hadn't followed in a long time. When I was YOUNGER, I was REALLY into it. Following Nikki's lead I started following "Zodiac Facts" on Twitter. Now here is my question. I've noticed that virtually everything that has been Tweeted about Pisces has been spot on in relation to me! It's almost scary sometimes. Is there REALLY more than something to it, or is it more coincidence? I'm not exactly objective, so I'm asking for some outside opinions! I guess that can be a discussion for another time and place! Ha ha ha!

One final scary detail is the fact that there seems to be some kind of a strange parallel between your health and mine Nikki. Though there are different root causes...the similarities are scary. Vertigo...we've both had it. Insomnia....that too! Mine hasn't been too bad recently...neither has yours. Back trouble...yep, that too! Mine had been in check for awhile, but just started kicking up again (exercise?) & I saw yours did too. Now, thankfully you haven't had heart trouble like I do...and sadly you suffered a severe, near fatal head injury...but like I said, there are definitely some scary similarities...especially the cycles the problems tend to run for us & then "clear up"!

Now guys, I really have to get to bed! I still feel crappy & I have to get up early in the morning to get on the road! Until you guys hear from me again...I hope everyone has a great week and a wonderful and happy Easter (& Passover for anyone who happens to be Jewish)!

If I'm not back on the radar by Monday...by all means, feel free to send out a search team to look for me! Ha ha ha!

You don't need calculus as the previous poster may have inferred. It's simple arithmetic. For some reason people confuse arithmetic with actual mathematics and abstraction.
