But seriously, I think I am one of the few that ACTUALLY has good winter gear in Louisiana! Heck, I see people walking around in shorts and a short sleeved shirt......when it is in the upper 30's and lower 40's out! I mean, one might not own a jacket (though I can't see how...as I see people from all walks of life doing it)....but long pants!?!?!? I saw a boy out with his mother/grandmother dressed that way the other day....just couldn't help but shake my head...ha ha ha! There I am in my Steelers parka, scarf.....jeans....and thick gloves!!! I always wear a tie when I wear a suit though...I never got dressing up....BUT not wearing a tie! Ha ha ha! But anyway....I just want to go up to them when I see that and say: "I'm from the north....and I know what cold is.....and you're nuts!!!" Ha ha ha!
