Unfortunate to see tension on a thread about someone getting injured.
It might seem cheeky to ask fans to help bail out a porn star who never thought to take out health insurance, but, to me, it's just symptomatic of the industry they work in: these young women have to be perpetually on the make because their careers are relatively short, hence all the ''send me a gift'' stuff you see on their websites.
Don't be too hard on them - bottom line is they're looking to make a living and, as one of them says, no one is forced to make donations etc.

"Nov. 16th, 2005 - 11:03am - Well, I got to spend the monday night and tuesday with her and monday she was feeling pretty bad. But tuesday morning came and she not only looked better but was feeling better. I was even able to get some smiles out of her. We had breakfast with her mom to get her out of the house for a little, but I think we did too much. She started getting real tired and in pain, so we got her back home on the couch. I talked to the doctors and they said she was healing. Its just going to take some time. She'll get another CT scan in a couple weeks to check her progress. Thats about it for now. Oh yeah, for those that have been waiting on info in regards to sending a check. That info has been posted below. Another update in a couple days."

That does it. I wasen't big on horse riding before. But there is almost no way you'll get me on one again.
I honestly hope she does get better.
Of course, I hope she gets better just as much as I hope every single other person in the world that is ailing gets better. No more and no less.

Nov. 30th, 2005 - 4:20pm - I've been here with Nikki all day helping here out around the house and getting work done on her site. Right now, she really can't do anything. She has had to turn down work and been overly stressed with all the things that are going on in her life. She did speak to the doctor the other day and as much as sometimes she feels better, her recovery is going to take longer than one would think. Its hard to understand. One day, she starts feeling better and wants to get off the couch and get stuff done, but then the next day, she'll get nausious, dizzy and her head will be in a lot of pain. The one good thing is that she still has a sense of humor and I've been able to get some smiles out of her. As a matter of fact, she even has an ongoing joke regarding the fact that she doesn't have any smell or taste .... "For an Italian girl from the south, that is just sacreligious" .... that comes out of her mouth frequently lately especially at meal time. Untill she has her appointment with the doctor, we really won't know the details of recovery and how her head is healing. So for now .... we'll keep helping her out and trying to keep her as happy as possible.
