He's been fortunate to have made a good acting career out of it despite the fact that he is related to one of the world's most famous directors, Francis Ford Coppola. Yes, he is talented enough to have did it on his own without any help from his uncle.
That being said, I did like him in "Moonstruck," "Raising Arizona," "Wild At Heart," "It Could Happen to You," "The Rock" "Face Off" "National Treasure I and II" and "Next." "Drive Angry" looks really good.
However, in other films, such as "Peggy Sue Got Married," "Leaving Las Vegas" "Honeymoon In Vegas" and "Con Air" not so good.
"Gone In Sixty Seconds," "8MM, "Snake Eyes," "Ghost Rider" and "Lord of War" were middle of the road. On the fence, not good nor bad.
I guess he pulls in $6-8 million a picture. :dunno: But businesswise, he isn't so swift. Didn't he sue his accountant/financial advisor because he thought he was embezzling from him. That case was thrown out of court. I believe he's filed for bankruptcy as well.
