Nikki Benz: Simply the best #1!!
the Rangers are doing great this start and the Islanders 1-7!! :(

Whoo Sharkies are undefeated, will this be the year? Patrick Marleau is playing real well at the beginning of the season? Excellent:thumbsup:

adding Dan Boyle didn't hurt :crying:

Very bad move for Tampa so far . They have only played 3 games and what's the big problem right now ? Transition from the blue liners to the forwards , something a certain Dan Boyle was very good at . Also I think coach Melrose has done a terrible job thusfar. I mean look at the ice time he has given Stamkos ( an average of about 8 minutes a game ) . I don't see how the kid has a chance to show what he's got and make his mark on the NHL if he doesn't play enough .

Anyone else suprised the Rangers are off to such a great start?

Yeah, I assumed they would do good this year, but so far they have exceeded expectations by far. Hope the Rangers have a good season.

We (Montreal) have won our 2 pre-seasons games against the Wings? ;)

Seriously though, the Habs have been indeed lucky regarding injuries besides Markov and Komisarek were both injured when we played the Flyers. Also, we were lacking toughness. Our players were blue all over after the rough 7 games serie against the Bruins (Lucic's gifts). The lack of experience of the (many) rookies or sophomores really hurted as well. Price might have been intimidated against the Flyers and we had no one who could answer besides the injured Komisarek... and loosing Komisarek for 5 along with the kind of Cote was a bad trade so Komisarek couldnt drop his gloves.

Now we have *king* George Laraque to adress that :nanner:

We have a solid team with more experience this year. With our devastating powerplay we will be serious contender i think... as long as Markov is not injured. 100th franchise year is meant to be the 25th cup in Montreal!

if toronto can defeat detroit, anything is possible

I worry about tonight because the Canucks got blasted last game by the Caps playing a Detroit-style game and Detroit is a much better team than Washington.

I believe Atlanta will be the next city to lose it's hockey team. every time i turn on their games, the arena is WELL less than half full.

And im pretty sure Kovalchuk will leave as soon as his current contract expires... That might be the final nail on Atlanta's tomb.

It's all about the Oilers. 2-0, beat Anaheim on the road. Lord Stanley's Cup will return to the "City of Champions" this year. I know, wishful thinking, right?
