I can't see shit in this video, but I've played hockey for most of my life and a snow shower is ALWAYS considered an insult. That being said I doubt he did it on purpose.

The Hawks will take Game 5. Mark it down.

Yeah, I called it. That was one hell of a fucking game. The Preds battled back from down 3-1 to make it close. Hawks still should have taken it in regulation, but it's great to get the win in overtime. I could certainly do without the elevated blood pressure though...

Time to wrap it up on Monday!

I feel alittle bad for Nashville. Hossa face planted that cat into the boards, Nash gotta 5 minute major to work with, only to have Kane tie it with seconds left and then they lose in OT.

he barely touched 'm. I hope the NHL doesn't puss out like the NFL, 16 games a year what a bunch of pansies.

The NHL plays 5 times as many regular season games plus the post season all on skates. It's faster & more violent. None of this can be disputed.

More games? No doubt.

Faster and more violent? If you say so. I'll take a Scott Stevens hit over a Ray Lewis hit anyday of the week.

I'm not saying hockey is for pussies. It's definitely a brutal sport, but if you think NFL football is a bunch of pansies running around on a field, you need a helmet more than they do.

hockey players are tougher than football players. an injury that will keep football players out of action for weeks is something hockey players play through. like a broken hand, for instance.

Hell, Malarchuk returned to practice four days after his cartoid artery was cut. That's pretty tough.

I'm sure some hockey players are tougher than some football players. And I'm sure some football players are tougher than some hockey players. I'm not going to generalize an entire sport though.

Also, I think you might be a little bit partial to hockey anyway. ;)

Scott Stevens is retired so I would too. I don't think anyone's ever run 40 miles an hour in cleats or got their throat cut and came back 2 weeks later in the NFL. And then there's the thing that really sets the NHL apart. All the charity work they all do yr round & nobody ever hears about except hockey fans. Saying NFL players are pansies is obviously not true. I just get sick of the NHL not getting the recognition it deserves while constantly hearing about some thug in the NFL committing another transgression. And I'm a Steeler fan. Ben got what he deserved. You just don't here about shit like this happening in hockey very often if ever.

It sucks that the "thugs" and wannabe gangsters give the entire league a bad name. I guess that's the personalities the NFL attracts though. Two different worlds. :glugglug:

Yeah, I've just been a little disenchanted w/ football lately. I really don't think football players are pansies. I think I was just a little bored, wanted to see what I could stir up. That was a good argument though.

Just trying to stir things up??:mad::mad: ;)

Anyway.

Wings won last night. Back to the Joe to put this shit away. Sorry Phoenix. You had a good year.
