Obvious kudos to the Flyers but I think it's funny as hell that Boston choked this up BIG TIME. They thought they had it in the bag, took their eye off the ball (puck?) and fucked it up. Bravo....even though I despise the Phucking Phlyers.

Go Habs!!!!

I just gotta say this to rodfarva. Whether or not we disagree on the Ovechkin/Crosby thing, I believe we can both agree that THIS series was a choke. :yesyes:

Fourth time in professional sports history a team 3-0 comes back. Damn.

How can you possibly say that? They were hanging by their foreskin that whole series.

I don't think they were hanging by their foreskin. Four games in a row is one hell of an accomplishment. I think the Flyers might be able to succeed where the Caps/Pens failed because they just won't sell the Canadiens short. The Caps obviously thought it was going to be easy, and during the second round everyone thought the Canadiens might have been a fluke. The Flyers aren't going to take it easy; they know that they are probably the underdog and it's going to make them come out swinging. Remember; these are the Broad Street Bullies we are talking about.

Ok, if the Flyers win I won't say anything about Montreal getting nuked because of it. If the Habs win everyone's gota stop callin these jokers the "Broad Street Bullies".

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
road teams are 4-0 in game 7s this year. (Montreal is 2-0)

Gonna take a lot to get excited about the Bruins next season. Last year about killed me. This year was a mean tease at the end

You got the second pick in the draft. That should be exciting.

1. San Jose vs 2. Chicago and 7. Philadelphia vs 8. Montreal that's crazy, even to start the playoffs the opening round ended with the reverse teams getting through, very strange playoffs this year. Seeds 1,5,3,2 in the west and 8,4,6,7 in the east.... strange year. I'm out of any guesses, I'll just watch.

No one calls them that? Believe me I wouldn't. Ranger fan. Mortal enemies.

Those buttfucker Bruins fans (not all of them) will go back to exploding their loads on their Sox' and Patriots posters, not to mention the Celtics. I can imagine the water cooler smack talk between bean town Bruins and Celt fans. The Celt fans are gonna give it to them to no end on Monday. Shame, really.

There's over 180 references to "broadstreet bullies" in here. Just a little outside information. Damn I didn't know you had to be a member of the Free Masons to be accepted here. :thefinger

Definite choke by the whole Boston Bruins. Had a 3-0 series lead and a 3-0 first period lead in Game 7 and didn't win the series. That is choking for sure. Chara had no impact from Game 4 on, and Rask wasn't as sharp as he had been in the postseason up to that point.

Alright, new picks (since I did terribly once again and only got one of the four series correct):

Western Conference Finals:
San Jose vs. Chicago - Chicago in 6. The only reason why I think the Sharks have a shot is that Nabokov is a superior goaltender to Niemi. However, the Blackhawks have the deepest forwards and defencemen in the league right now. They have three full lines of guys who would be first-liners on most teams, not to mention the firepower with Hossa, Toews, Kane, and Sharp. Then Keith, Seabrook, Campbell on D. San Jose can't contend. This time, though, it won't be a case of them choking, it'll be that they get beat by a superior team.

Eastern Conference Finals:
Philadelphia vs. Montreal - Montreal in 7. I've picked against les Canadiens twice and paid the price. I will not make that mistake again. They just got through the Caps and Pens. The Flyers are a solid team, but les Canadiens are just so damn good right now. Jacques Martin is outcoaching everyone he faces, and the players are laying their bodies and hearts out to make it happen. They are too determined to lose at this point.

Stanley Cup Finals:
Chicago vs. Montreal - Chicago in 7. I hate to say it, but I think les Canadiens do not have what it takes to beat the Blackhawks. As good as they are and as good as the teams they've beaten are, I think the Blackhawks are too deep and too talented to lose.

Conn Smythe - Jonathan Toews.

Dude, you left Byfuglien out. Dude is like a Chevy 1500 runnin' around out there. 260lb and a goal scorer. I still don't know why he wasn't on the olypmic team.

Chicago: Americans (;)) Kane and Byfuglien take them to the Cup. :nanner:
