The Saints are overrated and overhyped. I am a NFC South man so I see them play almost every week. Some people are on the Saints bandwagon because of Katrina. I feel sorry for all those people because I have been through exactly what they did with a flood, hurricane and all, but I still hate the Saints as much now as I did before Katrina.
The Saints D can't stop Peterson and they won't be able to run against the Vikings D.
Brees will have to win the game for the Saints.
I'd pick Minnesota. Their defense is superior to NO's and the offenses are both potent so I have to give the nod to the Vikes. I won't be in shock, however, if the Saints win. Should be a classic battle....can't wait.
Brees will have to be on top of his game. he will be under pressure all day, but if he can dump the ball off, throw some screen passes and draws, the Saints should be all right. His receivers know where to be and when to be there. It is gonna be a fun game to watch
Colston/Shockey/Meachem/Moore/Henderson will be too much for that weak Viking secondary. The pass will set up the run. Bush will return at least one punt for a TD and receive for another. The Saints CB's are worlds better than those Cowboys CB's. Sidney Rice won't have another career day. Their coverage will allow Sharper to roam around waiting for Favre to throw his patented NFC Championship interceptions.
Anybody remember Minnesota/Arizona? This will be worse. It will be biblical.
I have to root for the Saints. Drew Brees is my boy! I saw him play every one of his home games in college and I've rooted for every team he's been on as a pro. He's a class act and he deserves a ring. I just hope it doesn't come at the expense of my Colts.
AP rushed for a paltry 1.9 yards per carry last game. And last time I checked, the Vikes Rice doesn't have Jerry for a first name. As a result, he won't repeat his last performance. Sharper will eat him for lunch. Look for Favre to throw at least two picks - one of which will go to his aforementioned former teammate.
