yes, they played at the actual wc in the "Arena auf Schalke" in Gelsenkirchen. 77803 people were inside the arena :eek:
I´m not sure if i like to see the match from 200 ft beside the field ?

I really hope they have the Winter Classic in one of those eventually. Columbus vs Detroit (Big House/Horseshoe) or Pens vs Flyers (Happy Valley) would be awesome. Just to name a few.

Cool for the Olympics but to big for NHL. Many teams don't sell out now. Plus its to damn big to see much if your far away. I like my hockey so I can see it without opera glasses or binoculars.
