According to a new poll Americans are blaming the republicans for the shutdown, as they should. It was Ted Cruz who held a 21 hour speech demanding a shutdown if the president didn't give them everything they wanted. Now they have followed through and the blame is very correctly pointing directly at them. Mainly the tea party, but most people polled think the tea party is the same as the republicans, which it is. It's just the taliban version of the republicans.
this is the america we have to look forward to. this is what the right wanted and now they are going to have to live with the consequences. you wanted more radical conservatives and you got them. you wanted more religion in government, you got it. you wanted more party line representation and you got it. but at what cost?
Good luck in the mid-term elections republicans. good thing you have the fucking liars on tv and radio like Rush and Hannity and Beck to pollute the minds of the stupid americans who vote against their best interests and believe everything you tell them. otherwise there wouldn't be a single republican left in office.
