new kings of metal

I know that most people would say Slayer or Metalica are the kings of metal but i think that a new king has been crouned and that king or kings are Lamb of God

Right now I been listening to some of Otep's older stuff. Mushroomhead. Old Pantera. Stuff like that. Never really got into Lamb of God despite it being recommended to me countless times.

Hmmm, seems you got the timeline completely fucked up here. First saying you like older stuff than SLAYER then giving us names like OTEP, MUSHROOMHEAD and PANTERA? That's crazy talk. Tom Araya, Kerry King, Jeff Hanneman and Dave Lombardo are probably older than all three of the aformentioned bands together... That's how long SLAYER is thrashing the Metal...:banger:

No. I said what I like. And what I been listening to lately when I am listening to the hard stuff.

I said what I like with Metallica and Slayer. I said what I am listening to now, at the moment, which is Otep, Mushroomhead, and been listening to some of Pantera's stuff.

I personally think Metallica lost their reputation for being kings of metal when they came out with st. anger. Terrible CD. Slayer is still up there. I like a couple Lamb of God songs, but nothing to make me go out and see them in concert. Many people don't like GWAR for some reason, but if you have a chance go see them in concert, you will not be disappointed. They put on a hell of a show.

Slipknot, Mastadon and Killswitch are better and I'm not big fans of any.
System of a Down - a million times better.

And Pantera is older than you think LezFemmez, they didn't start the southern metal kick ass sound most of love until the early 90s but they were hair metal years before that. Pantera belongs in the same breath as Slayer and Metallica.
