Lamb of God is ok, nothing that great.
I like Slayer, their older stuff is much better than the newer stuff. Same with Metallica, their old stuff is good up until the black album and then after that most of it pretty much sucked

MASTODON FUCKING OWNS!! They have the best drummer hands down and unlike all of these other metal bands, these guys are at least trying to be original. The biggest plus of all...No fucking growling! They may not be kings, but they sure do know how to rip it up!:banger:

^Mastodon is tight, they actually play music not noise like all these other new dumbass metal bands.

I really like Lamb of God, but I think the crown of new-metal (not nu-metal) should go to Dethklok or 3 inches of Blood, however Sabbath, Judas Priest, Motorhead, Megadeth and Pantera will always be the original kings IMO.

Also, can someone please explain to me what the big deal is with Between the Buried and me? I mean seriously its just noise and yelling, plus the drummer cant even tune his snare or bass for shit, it sounds like he hitting a damn garbage can.

And Pantera is older than you think LezFemmez, they didn't start the southern metal kick ass sound most of love until the early 90s but they were hair metal years before that. Pantera belongs in the same breath as Slayer and Metallica.

Yep, they formed in '81 as did both Slayer and Metallica. Just took Pantera longer to become famous.
