Just noticed them last night -- dunno if I'll ever use them much, seeing as I don't even post on the regular forums much, but it's a very nice new feature. All boards should have them.

I fell in my own opinion , that there will be a lack of privacy witch i aint willing to share with anyone.

My privacy is my own.

Thats my opinion of course and i don,t degrade anything thats been done to the board, on the contrary , i really think inovation is always the way to go.

I will still be posting on my threads, but to reach me , get msn address in my details and will talked their in private.

i seriously hope so. the profile thing is great, the messages are.. close. the friends thing.. oi. id stop there.

The only other thing I'd like to see happen in the future (if Vbulletin makes it) is a way to customize profiles a little more. Perhaps adding custom skins or backgrounds.

And as to the profile comments not being private -- it's not meant to take place of your PMs. What it will most likely be used for by most members is a place to say hey to each other, thank you for a post, or leave links or whatnot. Of course, I'm sure creative individuals will find other uses.

It's also not something that you HAVE to use. Yes, it's there. People can leave you messages but by no mean do you have to reply or read the comments people leave you. In fact, you can delete any messages people leave if you so choose.

I just asked and it's a bug in the software. It's being looked at. For now, we admin are just special (ed). ;-)

Such a place already exists.

Clicking on Profile will display all the threads you're subscribed to (these will presumably be your favourites). Then once you're there, clicking 'Your Profile' ---> 'Statistics Tab' will display all the threads you've started.

Thanks, but I meant links and shortcuts that visitors to your page can see and you want to share with them and friends.
