I was wondering if I decided to sell in both Canada & the United-States, I post my price in canadian dollar but my customer live in the US. and pay the same amount with the americain money. When I receive it, will it be the same value? Or I will get less or more then my initial price? There no tax I assume?
And do I pay the charge or it him who pay it? How do I pay it? How does it work?
If the trading place doesn't automatically convert the value of currencies (like PayPal / Ebay do), then you have to demand a different price when shipping to the US - and state that with your offer.
Check the exchange rate of US to Canadian dollars with your bank (it differs from bank to bank) and calculate what you ask for in US currency. No taxes, though on money converting.
I am not sure, what "charge" you mean. But bank charges or fees for using the trading website will have to be covered by you. Postage fees have to be paid for by the buyer. So, you should explicitly state in your offer what postage fees you'll ask for, for shipping to different places, because fees may vary depending on shipping distance and shipping company being used.
