The Second-Hottest Man in my Mother's Basement
its official deron williams will play in turkey if the nba locks out. i think that dumb because he is in the final year or his contract and if he hurts, he is going to lose a lot of money.
I have never bought into the whole "what if he gets hurt?" argument when talking about players going to Europe. I don't believe the odds are high enough for any player (except for Greg Oden) to decide to sit out an entire year of basketball. A player could get injured doing a lot of things and I think when you look at the whole picture, taking a slight risk to play competitive, organized basketball in Europe for a year is better than simply going to a gym (where a player could get injured as well, mind you).
who do you think will have the most success as a coach with their new team mike brown (lakers), dwayne casey (raptors) or mark jackson (warriors)? I talking about 5 years down the road.
Brown, but just because he is with the Lakers. I am excited to see what Casey will be able to do with the Raptors. If the team focuses more on its D then they could be a solid lower seed in the East. The main goal in my opinion is simply to get a veteran center who can rebound so they can move Bargnani to a forward position. If the Raptors can do that they will improve on both offence and defence in a single move.
