Rose not in MVP form. At all.
Lebron with his sic line. Again.
Boozer lets Bosh run his show. 26 and 17 doesn't mean shit if you're letting the other guy score. Bosh shot 13-18. Cmon Carlos.

You do know that Boozer rhymes with loser, right? I bet that fact is becoming more and more apparent as the series rolls on.

The Bulls need a good/great shooter, and they need it desperately...

barkley sucks chants lol

I put this one on D-Rose. Up until now, Rose has been getting to the line 15-20 times per game. This comes from aggressively beating guys to the cup. Chalmers and Bibby cannot stop him whatsoever, but Rose is not taking advantage. The lack of physicality on defense is really becoming the Bulls undoing as well.

Miami has better players by far. love em or hate em, you cant say theyre not capable of being a championship team. its always a team chemistry thing for Miami thats been an issue for them, always up and down. when theyre in the downtimes it clearly shows by players trying to do too much on their own

Well, it's hard to get to the cup when the Heat basically trap Rose on every pick-n-roll. I don't know if there's a better team that defends the pick-n-roll better than Miami. If Chicago wants to get back into this series it's going to have to start with the supporting cast because the Heat are forcing the ball out of Rose's hand.

With that said, Rose needs to start being more of a PG. Even though Derrick Rose has dramatically improved as a player, he still doesn't have natural PG vision (like a Chris Paul or Jason Kidd).

That's crazy. The Bulls won 62 games with Rose beating double teams, and either kicking it out to shooters or scoring layups. There is no reason for me to believe that Rose cannot beat the slow moving double teams of Bibby and a not 100% Haslem, after beating better ones all season.

I personally don't think Rose is 100%. He's not getting the same lift on his shot, nor is he getting the explosion on his first step. With that said, others really have to knock down shots. Enough pointing the finger at Boozer, the Bulls need a total team effort to win, and it's not asking a whole lot. Defensively, the Bulls jumped on almost every shot fake thrown... unbelievable fakes to boot. The defense that we so heavily counted on is crashing and burning. Four times last night, a double team came over on Joel Anthony. Three times on both Chalmers an Miller...

WHAT THE FUCK FOR???

That's nonsensical defensive strategy, especially given a team with two of the leagues top 5 most prolific one-on-one scorers. The Heat basically ran a flex overload on the right side of the floor the entire game, playing 3-on-5 offensively, and the Bulls were sliding over to cover guys that only take 2 to 5 shots per contest. That is just stupid. Miller, Bibby, Chalmers, Anthony, and Haslem haven't scored 30+ all season, so why show a hard rotation over to them? Thibs has got to do better than that.

Rose is never going to be like Rondo or Kidd dishing out 15-20 assists a game and that's fine because he's 10x a better scorer than those two and he can take over a game. They're still missing a 2 guard who can play alongside Rose and create his own shot. The simple fact about this series is that Miami has three stars while the Bulls have one. This is the reason why I have the Heat wining in seven even though I'm a Bulls fan.

Have we lost sight of the fact that Rondo and Kidd have big time scorers to work with? Rajon Rondo is the most overrated PG in NBA history. Has anyone looked at this man FG, FT, and 3pt percentages. Any starting guard in the leage can pass to the most prolific 3 pt shooter, a top 10 PF, and one of the op all-time Celtic scorers ever. How many times is D-Rose gonna rape Rondo before he folks see this?

Again, you can't look at the regular season and expect things to play out the same in the playoffs. Lebron won a lot of games with the Cavs playing basically 1-on-5 then got exposed in the playoffs. I think we're staring to see the same with the Bulls.

Also, even if Rose gets past Bibby or Chalmers, Anthony, Lebron, or Haslem are waiting to either alter or block his shot. Wade is also giving Rose some fits. Even though this line-up may not be tall, they make up for it by their athleticism.

As for the Bulls defense, I think they're doing all they can do. They're obviously making an effort not to let Lebron or Wade get theirs.... but then that leaves Bosh (shooting around 66%). Now that Bosh is becoming a major factor, the Bulls basically are going to have to pick their poison. Unfortunately, Wade and Lebron shoot around 50%. How do you defend 3 efficient scorers?

What about the first two series where Rose was beating double teams to death and getting to the line 15-20 times. What about game 1 where he virtually did the same thing, kicking out to open shooters. The aggression isn't there right now. The ball is not moving. Simply put, the Bulls are losing track of what got them to the dance: Rose, Rebounding, Bench Scoring and Defense. You don't win 62 on BULLSHIT. You don't beat a team 4 times in a row off of FLUKERY. You do it with consistent play. Right now the Bulls are out of sync on both ends.

Uhh... Miami's a better defensive team than Indiana and Atlanta. It's that simple. Fundamentally, Miami's in a different league than those teams.

And in game 1, Derrick Rose scored a lot of his points on jump shots or on transition. The major difference in that game is 31 second chance points (Chicago shot 43%). It seems Chicago's best offense is when they miss.

And why do you keep talking about 62 wins? How does that apply in this series?

It applies BECAUSE THEY WON 62 FUCKIN' GAMES. They didn't get to this point being bottom of the barrell. Those 62 included a sweep of said Miami Heat, and anyone that acts like that doesn't mean a damn thing is NAIVE. It means something to both teams.

Of course Miami is better that those other 2 teams... they're still here, but again, the post season doesn't change 'are' to 'were'. If you 'are' a good team in the regular season, you 'are' in the playoffs as well. It's about consistent execution and adaptation. Chicago is not doing that, and Miami is adapting well.

Ah, yes.... best record means you're the best team. I totally forgot the statistic that show having the best record means you win 100% of the time. Why even have a post season when you settle everything in the regular season? :dunno:

I forgot the fact you don't really read my posts, my fault. Is it that easy to put words I didn't say in my mouth?

Dallas and Phoenix dispute this fact.

It doesn't dispute that at all. The only thing it shows is that they got beat by better matched teams than them. That's all. This can happen to any good team. Again, consistency and adaptation is the key. When you fail to accomplish either or, you're subject to get beat. The post season is a test in both ideas en route to the title.

I was just joking on Dallas' and PHX behalf.
