From what I have heard Dr Buss has a lot of nostalgia for the old Showtime Lakers and wasn't all that thrilled with the Triangle and Phil's penchant for older slower players. But he accepted the rings.

No. Kobe Bryant is not a better basketball player than MJ. This is not MJ worship, this is truth. This is just another example why. Put more of the entire picture out there... not just MJ got swept. That is incomplete and half-assed info.

MJ is a has-been.Get over him and let contemporary players have their day. Kobe is Kobe and when he retires I will feel the same way about him just like I also let go of Magic/Kareem as there will be other great players.
Legends is a euphemism for 'washed up' or 'has been' and I can't understand the worship of washed up players like MJ (or Magic or Kareem or Worthy)when we have contemporary players just as good.

You are the one who says MJ never got swept on national TV and that was FALSE because I watched the series. Then you come back with a list of conditions because you can't dispute that FACT. That was a fact MJ got swept on National TV and allegedly refused to shoot in the 2nd half of that loss(sound familiar?)
MJ didn't lose nor win those series by himself and neither those Kobe for that matter. Takes a team to win and take an ass kicking as well.
