I think the Magic win the first game in Beantown, but Rondo is the difference maker this year. He's just too good. He makes big plays in key moments now.
There is no getting around the fact that Wince Carter choked the game away badly. That kind of choke will haunt him for the rest of the series...
Still rooting for the Magic, but the Celtics look far superior...shockingly :shocked:
Phoenix is a goddamn joke. I hope they just give up. I don't want to watch anymore of that series. It's no contest.

According to TSN, Chris Bosh has given the Raptors a list of teams he would like to go to if he is traded. It's the same teams everyone has been talking about for months - the Bulls, Lakers, Heat and Knicks - but he also included the Raptors on the list. Probably doesn't mean anything, but it gives me a bit of hope that he'll resign with Toronto.

Aha. Basically he wants to play with Rose, Wade, Kobe or Lebron. What a joke, this guy just wants to ride someone elses coattails to a championship. He already threw Toronto under the bus when he asked his Twitter followers where he should go. Toronto will be better off without him. Build around Bargnani and Derozan. Let Bosh go play second fiddle while someone else actually leads the team.
i was hoping to see bosh come to Det. someway or somewhere i think he is a good player i usually dont disagree with you diva but bosh is a damn solid player he just wants his ring and knows he cant do it by himself hell neither could lebron or kobe .

Bosh is definitely a great player, but I just think he's fucking the Raptors and their fans hard right now. I don't like the way he's handling this free agency thing and I don't think he's worth max money. There is rumors of him coming to L.A for Gasol or Bynum. I'm not so sure I'd make that trade anymore. Definitely not for Gasol. He's my Spanish lover.
dirk is talking about opting out in dallas that will be a huge pickup if he moves on to another team
if boston beat the magic which it looks like they will and they go to the finals against the lakers i think the lakers will be in trouble .
boston has been tested against the toughest teams in the playoffs and they have showed them why defense wins games.

I agree there's NO WAY I'd trade Gasol for Bosh.
And at this point, with Bynum being so injury prone, I don't think there's any way the Lakers would get Bosh straight up for him.
Can Artest be traded? If so I'd be tempted to offer Bynum and Artest for Bosh.
Or if that seems like too much then Bynum/Farmar or Bynum/Brown.

I lived in Phoenix for while, still a Pistons fan, but I agree. Stoudemire who is looking for a max contract has not been impressive at all, great points but still lacking in the D.

I think this Finals is going to be way more competitive then the 08 series, both teams are so much better.

Celtics in 7. I think the difference-maker is Rondo. He is "the new Isaiah Thomas" I think. All I know of Bob Cousy is what I see on black/white film. Cousy looked freakishly creative next to the statues that played in the NBA in his era. The Lakers don't have an answer for Rondo. If they put DFish on Rondo, it will get ugly for the Lakers quick. Farmar gives the Lakers nothing offensively. Artest isn't fast enough to hang with Rondo. I think the Lakers will want Artest to harass Paul Pierce.

The Lakers had no answer for Russel Westbrook, Deron Williams, Steve Nash, Chauncey Billups or Aaron Brooks either. They managed.
The difference between this year and '08 will be Bynum and Artest. Lakers in 6.
