MSNBC Has Never Heard of Natural Rights

Liberals are such smart people. We should listen to them.

Sure they don't know anything that wasn't hand-fed to them this morning by the social justice bloggers at the Washington Post or appeared in a Mic meme. But that's only because they're so smart.

Here's MSNBC and Chuck Todd.

“Roy Moore, where the phrase ‘Christian conservative’ doesn’t even begin to describe him, could very well be your next senator,” Mr. Todd told his audience. “If you don’t understand just how freaked out some folks in the GOP and the White House are, then you don’t know Roy Moore. First off, he doesn’t appear to believe in the Constitution as it’s written.”

The host then played a clip of Mr. Moore saying, “Our rights don’t come from government, they don’t come from the Bill of Rights, they come from Almighty God.”

I'll skip the politics for a moment.

Chuck Todd and his people live in such a bubble that they've never heard of Natural Rights. The Declaration of Independence is a dead letter to them.

I'll return the favor Will. If you haven't seen the "John Adams" miniseries with Paul Giamatti, watch it.

With or without a miniseries, the Founding Fathers made it abundantly clear that religion cannot be the law of the land.

In a little Deutsch community west of where I live called Weimar there is a mom-and-pop restaurant that serves a "Reichsburger". I personally prefer a double Reichsburger with cheese, onions, lettuce, mustard and mayo. Finish it off with onion rings and a chocolate shake and you are in Reichsburger heaven! Yum!! ;)
