Movies that should have ended differently.

Se7en

From script to storyboard to filming, there were three different endings, none of them were what I wanted. I thought everything should have happen as it did in the movie, but when *SPOILER* Brad Pitt (David?) looks in the box, he should have put the gun to his head. That way, all seven 'sinners' would have died. Seven deadly sins.

Still, I love that movie. It's a minor gripe.

Can the entire final Matrix movie be considered an ending? It was like they realized they might have something good, and then went out of their way to screw it up.

I also have to add in the original ending for Blade Runner before directors cut was put into place way later. Even the actors and Riddly Scott didn't like the fact it was that way because of executive meddling.

"Welcome to the Rileys": After spending all of that time watching the film and developing a vested interest in the characters and how things would work out for them.....the ending seemed very "blah" & slapped together at the last moment because they had no real idea how to end it. It would be different if there was a possible sequel planned....which is not the case here. Such an open ending simply leaves the viewer feeling cheated.....it did me and others I spoke to anyway. How did the main characters end up? WHO KNOWS? The film certainly doesn't tell you.

"The Last Exorcism": The film was actually fairly decent, at least for this genre, up until the last 15 minutes. Without spoiling it for those who haven't seen it yet......COME ON!!! That ending again seemed like someone threw it together on the fly because they had no real idea how to wrap things up. Quite simply the ending was WAYYYYYY too contrived & ridiculous that it totally ruined an otherwise tolerable film!

I liked that ending, but I'm in a very small minority I guess.

From what I've seen, that would be the case. I have come across a few people who liked the ending....BUT, from what I've seen, I seem to be in the vast majority of "critics" who didn't really care too much for the ending.

^ Oh Yeah! ^ That would be the Shit!

Caddy Shack - Should of had Rodney Dangerfield go on a killing spree and rape the women

Forrest Gump

First of all it should have been narrated by Robert Redford

Secondly, I don't think that is really Forrest's kid in the end...

I've often watched a movie and, at the denouement(for you guys with little dicks, that's the wrap up), I've always wondered and many tiomes wanted the bad guy(s) to shoot the pigs, er, cops.

Here Zombie, Zombie, Zombie...
Heat. Val Kilmer's character catches up to DiNiro's and caps Pachino's because they were both headed for the plane. That's what you get for being all god damn serious through the whole damn thing! Not even killed by the main, killed by a flunkie.
