A big one I can't believe no one has mentioned is Janine Lindemulder. I just never saw the appeal in her and she was so huge for a long time. I remember when she finally started doing dudes, it was funny how underwhelming the response was although she had all these fans waiting for it for years.

I would add Tera Patrick, but she was just so amazing her first few years in porn. She just upped the quality so much. It was ridiculous how good looking she was. Present day Tera Patrick stinks though, I do agree.

Same here, Jenna Jameson. I have yet see a scene where she proves to be the slightest pleasure to my viewing eyes. She has two prominent features which I never liked:

1. Bikini Lines
2. Fake Boobs

These two features in a pornstar are often enogh for me to be not a fan of of hers but in case of Ms. Jameson, her perofrmance simply had nothing appealing to me.

I think her overratedness has a lot to do with her occasional crossover to mainstream media and news, which are often famous for creating unnecessary hype (remembre Paris Hilton and Britany Spears). We can see some of same factors of fame in Traci Lords, Lisa Ann and Sasha Grey's cases too.

Tera Patrick has never been good at picking movies for herself to perform in. She had one the best pair of breasts and she ruined them by having an unnecessary boob job.

I think Janine missed her golden opportunity to become the number 1 porn star because she only did G/G stuff for the longest time.I guess because of her girl only scenes,I can see why people would think that she is/was overrated.

Agreed. If I had my way, she'd be sent to live with an Italian grandma and fed until her bod could support those bolt-ons. I give her credit for doing some enthusiastic scenes, but she's scary skinny and those huge fake boobs don't look good with her that skinny. Put some lbs on her and then let's see how she looks - she might not seem at all over-rated to me then.

You know,there are quite a lot of people that proclaim this,but not one time have I ever really heard exactly how she brought porn to the mainstream.

Porn was around long before Jenna,and will be here even longer when she is gone.I personally think that it's a joke to think that she is some sort of porn pioneer.
