Most Over-Rated Football (Soccer) Players Ever

Who do you think is the most over-rated player?

I dont mean any price tags involved , I mean which player did people used to rave about & you thought , hold on a minute hes pretty shit!!!

Since Im Scottish I have 2 from Scotland & they are Paul McStay (Celtic) , I couldnt see why he got the credit he did & Barry Ferguson (Rangers) who I like to call Barry Backwards (he doesnt no how to play a ball foward)................ :hatsoff:

When I read about soccer players that cost more than several complete teams from other leagues, I just shake my head.

But they generate large amounts of attention and money for their clubs, so, well, they are worth it I guess.

I couldn't pick a specific overrated player...

I agree with most but Michael Owen , cmon FGS he was brilliant up until he started getting injuries , I think he will be back to his best once he gets a run with Man U & stays clear of injuries & I think Tore Andre Flo made a mistake coming to Rangers , I dont think the Scottish game suited him , he was brilliant for Chelsea :thumbsup:
