Most of you in here consider me to be an old man. That's understandable.

Trust me, Sam, the last think I think of you is as an old man. As has been said many times before, your postings are those of a confused teen crying out for attention, then crying louder when it is not getting it. I see you as one who has led an extremely sheltered life - probably homeschool. Once you get out into the real world, have to interact with other people and have to work on your own, life will bitch slap you to no end. And no amount of crying will save you.

As you can see most people do not spend much time thinking about you at all, but when they do dumbass seems to be the general consensus.

I am a failure to the Korean side of my family
Remember the times when Baconsalt posted on here and used to post about poop? Or how Assholebythedoor created these threads that were way too avant garde for us to comprehend. Or how about mrterbus he was a jolly chap.

Sorry age means nothing, you should always you think for yourself, I was a Republican at a younger age, now I find it far more constricting to be CONServative! i dont always find the government a overwhemling influence, I find the Republican party now telling how I should live my life based on others opinions and them dictating to me, but you are free to your own opinions. I am younger than you, but far old enough.

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
Yeah, I'm 55 years old. There's a few of us in here around the same age. For those of you who are young, full of vim and vigor, and feel as if you have the world by the tail, far out! I was there once just like you. I didn't care who was president. I was young and my life was pretty good.

When I was born; 1956, Dwight D. Eisenhower was president. Then - Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush 1, Clinton, Bush 2, and now Obama.

When I got out of the Navy; 1977, Jimmy Carter was president and I thought "cool.. a real down to earth kind of guy - a farmer." (later I realized he should have stayed a farmer)

During Carter's presidency is when I got interested in politics and issues and knew from that day on I was a Conservative Republican. Why? Reagan mostly.

This is why....

I wanted to do things for me, by me. I didn't want the government deciding for me what I needed and what I didn't need. Some day, some of you in here will come to realize the government IS NOT looking out for your best interest. Only you and your family can decide best what is for you.

You will look back on this in about 10 years and say to yourself; "Wow, Sam was right."

:)

My hope for you, Sam, is that in ten years you will be less naive than you are now. And at that time you may realize that the world, and this nation, was FAR more complex than you, as a 55 year old "child", was able to see.

That is my sincere hope for you. I doubt that it will happen. But being an optimist, I believe that all things are possible. For a man of your age to still believe the simplistic party lines, thrown out to the plebes by the party machines, is rather sad. But I realized a long time ago that there are those among us who find it much easier to believe what they are told, rather than decide for themselves what is real, true and valid.

Be good. Be safe. And for God's sake, don't take any wooden nickels... even if they're imprinted with Ronald Reagan's picture.

The Reagan Kool-aid was much more prevalent and powerful than anything Jim Jones came up with

I believe he is right :yesyes: Ron Paul 2012

yup Ron Paul knows the history of US economic policy well and he knows the causes of inflationary and deflationary periods but don't worry in another 4 years when the US dollar is in even worse shape then it is now, the people might start actually caring lol
