well he arrives in liverpool tonite and has a medical and has to agree personal terms and will hopefully be signed intime to play against the Manks

what do you think of him,and any Man U fans on here are you worried about him if he does start on Saturday?

Good signing for Liverpool, i personally thought he was alot better than Raul when Real Madrid kept dropping him, he not only scores goals he makes them alot aswell so Man Utd could be in for a hard time (especially with the keeper situation they have).

He is one of the best players in the world, he was the top goal scorer in the champions league with Monaco and has proved he can do it at international level and being second to Raul and Ronaldo is no bad thing. For 6.5 million they have got a bargain in my opinion whilst it's alot of money real normally charge higher than that for their players and he's apparentley signed a four year contract at anfield. :bowdown:

Assuming the medical & everything goes well he should prove to be a fine acquisition, thought he'd choose Liverpool over other clubs because of the big Spanish connection.

He is a good aquisition, there might be a catch in that 'Real' get a first option deal on Gerard at the end of the season as Beckham has hinted it a few times but Beckham is about as reliable as a mouse with a human penis
