Actually, when I had Sirius radio, Stern interviewed the guy that invented the Sybian. A VERY weird dude...seriously creepy, or at the very least, he came across that way.
Sybian want to take it back, they say it should not sound like that. They have never had one broken before...

I actually meant it sounded like the motor would power a mini bike!, but I will say this, the one that I've heard before, which was on the Howard Stern show, sounded exactly like that...very powerful. But hey, for what they cost, if they want to make it right for you, then take advantage of their pride in customer service...that doesn't happen to often anymore.

You know you're probably hopelessly nerdy when you watch that video, the cam swings over to the running Sybian, and as you see it, you say to yourself:
"That fleshcoloured thing on top, the edges should not flap like that. Can't they build a cover that houses the replaceable part so it fits snug???"

They keep sending me new ones to try out, in an attempt to avoid the flap. I believe the problem is one of harmonics.
