I've been dealing with some awful heat, too. The high temperature here was at or above 93. If I'm not at work, I stay indoors and only venture outside to smoke.

I never expected this heat, crikey!

Having a drought out there as well. About 80 degrees today in Memphis, and cloudy, temps are supposed to drop in the low to mid 70's towards the weekend and rain lots of rain.

I wonder if it will rain here

I keep hoping for rain, and being disappointed. Instead, we got another high temperature at or above 93 today.

Stay cool, Miss. And if you're driving, please be careful...California has some notoriously dimwitted drivers.
