Okay, so Felix has his good points. Still, there must be a trust from an employee to the boss. You need to remind him of this. Also, it seems that Felix is using his time for duties not related to work. Perhaps he needs more to do. Add some things into his morning folder.

I'm sorry, I shouldn't be telling you how to run your business but be a professional concerning this issue. Address this situation behind closed doors. Just Felix and you. Don't open the door till he has a full understanding of what you expect. Don't be afraid to be firm with him though.
