It's finally about that time that I have to start working on the 2012 contest. Don't worry, this is 99.9% likely to actually happen in 2012...I'm waiting on some things before the official announcement of the start date of the competition.
In the meantime, I'd like to poll you guys on a few elements of the contest:
1.) In 2010 the contest was 3 months long, 2011 it was a month and a half. How do you feel about 3 rounds in 1 month?
2.) Last year you were alloted x votes in the miss freeones category + x votes in each additional category per day in each round. How do you feel about having x votes per day to use in whichever manner you choose? Either spend them in one category or spread them between all 7 categories?
3.) What would you like to see on the biography page aside from the normal bio info that you would find in the girl's freeones bio?
4.) Did you like being able to vote for all the categories a girl was entered into on the bio page? If no, why not?
5.) We're going to keep all of the categories, except for the best official site since as it was pointed out...unless a fan is a member, there's no objective way to judge an official site except by looking at the tour page. With that being said, what category should replace this?
Please keep in mind it should be a category we can enter at least 30 contestants into.
6.) What do you think the qualifications should be for a girl to be entered into the Best OCSM category? Please keep in mind that a lot of girls are busy so it's not realistic that they're here 24/7. Also, keep in mind that the OCSMs that like to stick to their own thread are still interacting.
And of course, and constructive criticism is welcome. Please keep in mind we're not changing the entire structure of the contest. It will still be Miss FreeOnes + 6 categories in 3 rounds.

We'll have a top list, just like in the previous years. The only thing that will change in this regard is we'll more than likely have a counter for overall votes (as with the previous years) and a counter for the votes in the individual rounds.
Overall, we have most of the features worked out. We're making the official annoucement for the contest on the 10th, but here's some of the things you can look forward to:
- contest will last 1 month
- 3 rounds
- MissFO + 5 additional categories
- Voting weight is based on longativity of an account + post count
- For those that post during a round, the post count will be taken into consideration in the next round (don't bother post count spamming...you'll end up with posts deleted and being banned until the end of the contest)
- Only logged in members will be able to vote for Best OCSM
- And as I've been saying for months now, there will be limited spots in the Best OCSM category. Only the most active will get a shot at a spot!

But I don´t see any reason why NOT to offer this voting-counters I mentioned above. EVERYONE could see it : FO can see it, the girlz can see it, all voters can see it.
The *old style* ONLY FO can see it ... so , because FO has to count all votes per contestant there already MUST BE voting-counters for each babe , WHY NOT make them visible for everyone ?? :dunno:

I was wondering if it would be possible to limit the voting for OCSM to existing members. In other words to vote in that category you must be a member before the contest starts and not be able to register after it starts and still vote for OCSM. Hopefully that way voters will give some weight to how the OCSM interacts on the board and actually have some knowledge and not vote blind.
I would go for a six weeks contest. After all, part of the contest is to get new members so you need to give the OCSM's some time to alert their fans to come over and vote, and the newbies have to be given the time to gain enough posts.
It's worth to try, but wouldn't it then be so that each one spends all his votes in the main competition? :dunno:
Therefore I'd leave it as it was.
Some pictures and a sexy movie would be nice to see as well. Some people don't know all the contestants that well, so pictures and a short movie with some sexy moves and an explanation why someone should give his/her vote to the OCSM whos' presenting herself.

Best OCSM on the board perhaps. Being a good OCSM partly has got to do with being a good member on the FO board, not just during the contest, but the whole year through.
As you say, being active on the board is one thing, but contrabuting some prizes for members games is also important I think, as well as being active on the board outside their own thread. Not 24/7 but at least a few times a week. After all, it doesn't take that long to drop some lines, does it?
This seems like a good idea.
Yes, I know that people lurk before becoming members, but this would eliminate people creating false accounts in order to vote for their favourite girl.

No. Our mission isn't to exclude people who want to put in the effort to register help their favorite babes.
a.) The girls in the OCSM category will already be deserving.
b.) Existing members will have helped to fill the slots in the OCSM category.
c.) We WANT new members to participate.
d.) Existing members already have the greater vote weight than a brand new member.
Besides, there's people who've been a member for 5+ years who have no clue what an OCSM is and will vote for their favorite anyways. There's no way to regulate that other than make things way too complicated.
- OCSMs have been getting emails and reminders that MissFO is coming up since around October of last year. Also, we're making the offial announcement on the 10th. I think when you see the date the contest starts, if between October and then they don't prepare then it's their own problem.
- We've decided that everyone will get x votes a day to spend how they wish. I think it starts with 10. If they want to spend them all in the main categoy, that's up to them. ;-) We'll have a FAQ page and if they don't read it, that's their own fault.
- Each girl will need to answer the question "why should I be Miss FreeOnes" at registration and this year they'll be able to add their own images to their biography profiles. As usual, we'll offer to put up their videos if they want to go the extra mile.
- We're doing the voting from the bio page a little different this year. You'll have to see what we came up with.
Yes we do have vote counters in the back end. Reason we dont display them is just simple marketing in order to make most out of it for both the girl, the member and ourself.

Is the contest 3 months or 3 x 2 weeks? 3 months as originally advertised is such a long time.
