Mickey Rourke in Iron Man 2?

And I dont see how they gonna get everyone aboard to star in the Avengers movie,it's gonna be a cluster fuck.

Not to mention if they ever have a big crossover from the people in the Marvel movies it's going to be almost unthinkably expensive. (Unless they already have some clause written in all the actors contracts from before that will make them do it for almost free, which they probably don't.) It would be hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars just to pay the big time actors. It would either be that or they would have to start over with new actors in those roles.

The ball is already rolling on this. Samuel Jackson made the appearance in Iron Man as Nick Fury. Then Robery Downey made the appearance as Tony Stark in the latest Hulk. Once we get Thor (mostly cast, nearing production), Cap and possibly Ant-Man (the least likely of the bunch) then we'll get the Avengers

Money won't be an issue. You frequently don't have to pay actors big salaries up-front for these franchise type films. They get a few token million and then they get a percentage of the box-office...which is where the real money is.

All the actors that have so far signed up for all these films have signed multi-picture deals which include the Avengers. The only way it won't happen is if Iron Man 2, Thor, and Capt. America all bomb at the box office.

:*****: (let's hope they bomb!!)

True. But the more silly superhero movies that get made & are successful the more WILL get made. :(
They used to be an enjoyable rarity, now they are all over the fucking place & 90% of them are awful. :(:(:(

What is he having his face reconstructed again?

Captain America is LONG overdue, and Ed Brubaker should most definately have his hands on the script as his run on Captain America is pure gold.

Captain America sucks.
They brought him back after ****ing him saying it was a fake?:dunno:

Captain America has been fucking awesome ever since Brubaker took over. Period.

Also, where are we getting this idea about a fake dying, and not the real deal? The recent Captain America: Reborn issue doesnt go with any "fake" scenario. Hell, they even had Thor communicating with Cap's spirit on the anniversary of his death.

Unless of course the spirit was 'fake' too. :D

Cap sucked since he and some other 'heroes' sacrificed their life to stop Onslaught and started the whole Reborn era. From that time he sucked imo.

Silly ****.

No one ever dies in comics.

Ever.

you need to read comics.

Tell that to Uncle Ben and Thunderbird.

and also Banshee,
Corsair,Cyclops' ****** who Vulcan ****ed.
Caliban

Cap's title got my attention when they basically did away with this idea of him being near perfect superhero (much like Superman over at DC) and turned him back to what he originally and always should have been ... a Super Soldier. As any Golden Age comic will show you, Cap thought nothing of taking out ****'s permanently during WW2, and rightfully so.

Returning Bucky was very questionable to me, but Brubaker achieved this in a pretty satisfying way with the Winter Soldier story arc. The death, and what happened following that event was handled pretty good, and all the recent stuff with the Red Skull and his crew wasnt bad either. I also like how the 1950's Captain America has returned, and the recent storyline involving the original 1940's Human Torch, Jim Hammond.

I like your admiration for Cap and all,but as a character he just seems too boring and lack charisma to hold my attention. That's why I prefer an X-Men title over his any day of the week.:2 cents:

All those characters you mention could be brought back to life anytime.

True, however they have been dead for couple of years now.

Thanks, and you sound just like my best friend.

Big X-Men fan. :hatsoff:

Bucky was dead for 60 years until Marvel decided he didn't actually die but instead became a Soviet spy.

So anything is always possible.

Stan's always made these little hints for years that Bucky's body was never found. The possibility was always there, it just took a capable writer with a good story arc to do it properly. If it didnt fly, which amazingly it did, that's what retcons are for. :D
