Michelle Obama's Let's move-project

What kind of thoughts that project raises?

Is it unpatriotic to say that do not drink Coca-Cola or eat hamburgers?

But it is a pretty bold to say that the Coca Cola Company's and McDonald's products are a risk to human healt?

How is it bold to say that they are a risk to human health? How about if you go on a steady diet of nothing but McDonalds and Coke for 30 days and convince me of how healthy it is? I am completely serious about this.
That stuff is shit: foul tasting crap with no nutritional value created for those too lazy to cook their own food - and the more people who inform the public of the ills of eating that shit, the better.

-Big companies such as Coca Cola has a lot of influence and if their interests are threatened anything can happen.

-No thanks because fast food and soft drinks are very unhealty and fattening.

-You would think that the people themselves would know that such food is unhealty?

I say do as you please, just realize there may be consequences down the road for your health. As for gov't telling us what we can or cannot do then I say stay out of my personal decisions.

So if a company or party is powerful, then we should just leave them alone, because "anything can happen"?

It does not matter what we say.

(We = ordinary people)

But if someone who has a lot of influence cause problems to big companies then anything can happen.

Does this sound paranoid to you?

Come on guys, she's totally right, she tries to improve american kids' health, learn 'eme that sports are more fun and more healthy than TV and videogames.

Companies like McDonald's or Coke spend millions lying to the people telling 'em that what they sell is healthy, it is good that someone like her or like Beyonce use their fame to tell the truth.

But people may upset if they are told that they are fat and their diet is stupid and adults know what is unhealty food and what is not.

You don't spend a lot of time talking with typical American adults, do you?

But people may upset if they are told that they are fat and their diet is stupid and adults know what is unhealty food and what is not.

Upsetting people is not a crime. One of the major flaws in America today is nobody wants to say it like it is because they are too worried it might upset someone. The truth hurts but it's still the truth.

But people may upset if they are told that they are fat and their diet is stupid and adults know what is unhealty food and what is not.
Then ask yourself, what's better :
Telling the truth and upset people or telling them the lies they wanna be told ?

Adults should be able to hear the truth and deal with it.

Conspiracy...
It is unamerican. Americans are free to eat what they want.
Yep, nobody denies them that liberty.
But americans are also free to say whatever they want so she's free to tell 'em that McDonald's and Coke in front of the TV are gonna them fat and that balanced nutrition and exercice will keep healthy.

That will never work in America. Just like the fat tax failed miserably in Denmark. :D
