It's a sad time for the metal world as he was one of its biggest icons. The loss might be bigger then we all realize. Black Sabbath (A.K.A. Heaven and Hell) might have died with him also. And how can anyone else play a 'Dio' song without that signature voice of his? RIP Ronnie James Dio.
According to magazine interviews, he said his grandmother used to flash that two finger sign as a way of repelling evil. So it is actually ironic that something that was meant to ward off evil was taken as 'the sign of the devil' or 'the devils horns'. RIP Ronnie James Dio.

I was fortunate enough to have seen Heaven & Hell 3 years ago. It was such a heavy show, made it to the front of the stage, had a blast. Couldn't believe Dio and the gang were right in front of me. I will never forget it. R.I.P.
